Our History
Four Winds S.A. Ltd was established in 1979 as a small moving and freight forwarding company in Saudi Arabia. The company was founded by Mr. Mohammed Almani, a young visionary who saw a strong need for international moving and logistics services in the Kingdom.
With his background as a London-trained customs professional, he brought together a small team from different parts of the world to build a business in what was then a new and unfamiliar industry in Saudi Arabia. Within a few years, Four Winds became a leader in both local and international moving. Over time, moving in Saudi Arabia became closely associated with Four Winds.
The company has handled moves for members of the royal family, diplomats, dignitaries, and residents, both within the Kingdom and internationally.
As demand grew, Four Winds expanded its services in the early 1980s and became a full-service logistics provider. The company played a role in many major national projects, including oil refineries, water desalination plants, telecommunications, energy, electricity, and petrochemical developments.
Today, Four Winds is recognized as one of the most trusted moving and logistics companies in Saudi Arabia. The company is a member of leading international organizations such as IATA, FIATA, IAM, and FIDI, reflecting its strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
With 7 offices across the Kingdom, Four Winds provides wide coverage and reliable service. Through partnerships with major air and sea carriers, the company can handle a full range of shipments, including personal effects, general cargo, perishable goods, and hazardous materials, to destinations worldwide.
The team includes professionals from over 15 nationalities, with an average of 20 years of industry experience. Supported by modern warehousing facilities and a well-maintained fleet of trucks, Four Winds is equipped to manage complex logistics challenges.

Executive Team
Mr.Mohammed Almani / Chairman
Mohammed Almani is the founder and chairman of Four Winds Saudi Arabia. He leads the company’s overall operations, guides the executive team, and sets the long-term vision and direction of the business.
He founded Four Winds in 1979 and played a key role in shaping the moving and logistics industry in Saudi Arabia. His leadership and forward-thinking approach helped the company grow into a trusted name in the region.
Mr. Almani was appointed President in 1982. In 2000, he became President of the Executive Team, and in 2016, he formed the board of directors and was named Chairman.
He began his career in 1958 at Saudi Customs in Jeddah seaport. He later moved to King Abdulaziz International Airport Customs, where he advanced to the role of Assistant to the General Manager. To further develop his expertise, he studied at the British Customs Institute in Southend-on-Sea between 1967 and 1969.
After returning to Saudi Arabia, he led the public relations department at Wittiker Company. He later joined the Said-Nestle project, contributing to the country’s development plans in food supply.
In 1973, he founded World Wide Moving Company, following his passion for the industry. This experience led to the creation of Four Winds a few years later.
His expertise extends beyond the private sector. Mr. Almani also served as head of the Transport Logistics Committee in Jeddah, contributing to the development of the logistics industry in the region.
Nizar Almani / CEO
Nizar Almani is responsible for driving the company’s growth, developing new business opportunities, and leading strategic planning. He oversees corporate development and ensures the company adapts to the fast-changing market conditions in the Middle East.
He joined Four Winds in 2005 to lead the marketing department. During his time with the company, he launched the logistics division to meet increasing market demand and support business expansion.
Before joining Four Winds, Nizar worked in the marketing department at HP in Oregon, USA. Throughout his career, he has managed international operations, projects, and marketing initiatives across logistics services and corporate development.
He became a member of the executive team in 2007. When the board of directors was established in 2016, he was appointed Vice Chairman and executive member. In January 2017, he was named Chief Executive Officer of Four Winds.
Nizar Almani holds a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management from Portland State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from King Saud University.
Anis Alshanti / General Manager
Anis Alshanti is the General Manager of Four Winds, reporting directly to CEO Nizar Almani. He oversees operations across Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, leading teams to deliver high-quality service, drive innovation, and maintain strong performance across all branches.
Anis has been a key part of Four Winds for decades. He joined the company in 1988 as a sales representative in Riyadh. Within a year, he was promoted to Key Account Supervisor, and in 1993, he became Branch Manager in Yanbu.
During his time in Yanbu, Anis developed strong expertise in managing logistics for large-scale projects, particularly in the oil and gas sector. His performance led to his transfer to the company’s headquarters in Jeddah in the mid-1990s.
He earned his FIDI diploma from the Brussels institution in 1997 and was promoted to Jeddah Branch Manager in 1998. In 2000, he joined the executive team as Regional Manager for the Western Area.
In January 2017, Anis was appointed General Manager of Four Winds.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science from King Saud University, earned in 1987.
Rasheed Ali / Regional Manager, Central Region and Bahrain
Rasheed Ali is the Regional Manager for the Central Region and Bahrain, reporting to the General Manager and CEO. He oversees Four Winds’ operations in Riyadh, the central region of Saudi Arabia, and the Kingdom of Bahrain, leading teams that deliver reliable and effective logistics solutions for customers.
He joined Four Winds in 1992 as a Sales Executive. His ability to develop practical and creative solutions quickly led to his promotion to Sales Manager in Jeddah in 1997. In 2000, he was appointed Branch Manager in Yanbu.
During this time, Rasheed strengthened his expertise through IATA cargo training and earned a FIDI Forwarding Diploma from the Zurich institute in 2001. He later moved to Riyadh as Assistant to the Regional Manager, where he further developed his experience in personal moving and relocation services.
In 2007, he joined the executive team as Regional Manager for the Central Area. In 2018, his role expanded to include responsibility for Four Winds operations in Bahrain.
Before joining Four Winds, Rasheed worked in sales roles for a transport company in India from 1990 to 1992.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in English.
Salem Al Dakhnan / Government and Public Relations General Manager
Salem Al Dakhnan is the General Manager of Government and Public Relations at Four Winds. He reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for all government compliance and regulatory matters across the company.
He joined Four Winds in 2001 as a Government Relations Officer. Through his dedication and strong performance, he was promoted to Government Relations Manager for the Riyadh branch in 2005.
Throughout his career, Salem has completed numerous courses and seminars organized by Chambers of Commerce and Saudi authorities. This experience helped him develop strong administrative and leadership skills, leading to his appointment as Riyadh Office Manager in 2010.
In 2013, he was promoted to Deputy General Manager for Government Relations, and in 2016, he assumed his current role as General Manager.
Salem joined the executive team in 2014. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from King Faisal University in Hufuf.
Ramzi Zabaneh / Regional Manager- Western Region
Ramzi Zabaneh is the Regional Manager for the Western Region, reporting to CEO Nizar Almani and General Manager Anis Alshanti. He oversees operations across the western region, leading teams to deliver reliable service and exceed client expectations.
With over 25 years of experience in the logistics industry, Ramzi has worked with leading companies in Saudi Arabia and Jordan. He has progressed through various roles, from sales to senior management, building strong expertise across operations and business leadership.
In 2018, he joined the executive team as Regional Manager for the Western Region, succeeding Anis Alshanti in this role.
Ramzi holds an MBA from Martinville University, earned in 2004.
